It seems very unlikely he is unaware of his friend's statements about 9/11. Last July (2007) he told me he had watched Loose Change. I gave him copies of Press for Truth and Ludicrous Diversion. He showed the same unwillingness to discuss the matter, brushing it aside as a distraction from the main issue of troop withdrawal. Later, I got some more candid remarks from him and was left with the impression that he is probably aware of the Big Lie but has made a political choice not to go there.
