The interview was taken on Monday the 8th October at the Stop The War organised march (the one they tried to ban).
Neil Kinnock described Michael Meacher as Tony Benn’s “vicar on earth”. It seems very unlikely he is unaware of his friend’s statements about 9/11. Last July (2007) he told me he had watched Loose Change. I gave him copies of Press for Truth and Ludicrous Diversion. He showed the same unwillingness to discuss the matter, brushing it aside as a distraction from the main issue of troop withdrawal. Later, I got some more candid remarks from him and was left with the impression that he is probably aware of the Big Lie but has made a political choice not to go there.
